Not only is the presence of consciousness a marvel that the materialistic world can not comprehend, but so is our ability to comprehend the cosmos. From the subatomic level to cosmic processes, we can grasp the cosmos, the rules of existence, and how they work via our thinking. The same laws require mathematical understanding and high abstraction ability, and it takes many years to learn and understand them, while scientific knowledge itself is advancing.
Is it obvious that the human mind will even have a chance to understand the universe? After all, according to the atheist worldview, consciousness is something that evolved evolutionarily only because it had some survival benefit.
But isn’t it evident that consciousness isn’t required for survival, and that not all of the universe’s mysteries must be comprehended in order to do so?
