Atheist-Materialist approach fails, but I’ve yet to prove God’s existence – Don Karl Juravin

Even if we don’t go this route (although many philosophers and scientists do), it’s evident that consciousness is a marvel that has to be explained, and that the atheist-materialist approach is incapable of doing so.

While this is not direct evidence of the existence of GOD, there is certainly an appeal here to the material worldview, the absence of GOD. In addition, the existence of GOD can certainly explain the existence of consciousness, and the wondrous fit between it and the universe.

Atheist-Materialist approach fails, but I’ve yet to prove God’s existence – Holy Land Man

If the same GOD who created the universe and set the laws of nature is the one who created our consciousnesses, it certainly makes sense that he would imprint in our consciousness the ability to perceive and understand the universe.

  1. An atheist does not need to prove that “god” or “gods” do not exist, nor “justify” anything else concerning “creation” or “materialism”; neither to another atheist or an individual who believes in a single “god” or multiple “gods”. The premise that an atheist would attempt to “justify” “creation” presumes that they are in some form of discussion with an individual who believes in “god” or “gods”; though to do so is a fruitless dialogue if each party truly believes what they profess before the dialogue commences.
