Evidence of human morality – Don Karl Juravin

Most mentally healthy persons have basic and very strong moral intuitions, which tell them that things like murder, robbery, and harming innocent people are bad. The way in which the same moral intuitions are applied varies, of course, from society to society, as do the definitions to whom moral rules apply, but there is no society in history that has not recognized the existence of morality and justice even at the basic level.

  1. Some people, in my opinion, believe that our conscience comes from God, while a humanist may argue that such instincts and feelings have a more natural foundation. Our moral impulses and ideals do not originate outside of mankind, according to humanists. Morality has its beginnings inside human beings.
